Author to read from award-winning book

WSU Department of English will kick off the fall literary reading series with Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrom. Lunstrum will read from her book, “This Life She’s Chosen,” a collection of short fiction published by Chronicle Books in 2005. “This Life She’s Chosen” is Lundstrom’s first book and was selected as a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers title. She teaches at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.

The reading is scheduled for Wed. Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Museum of Art/WSU. A booksigning and reception will follow.

Also, Valerie Miner, a widely published fiction and essay writer will read from her new collection of short fiction titled “Abundant Light” on Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Museum of Art/WSU.

Both readings are sponsored by the WSU Department of English and the Museum of Art/WSU.
