Washington State University Vancouver will hold an April 28 dedication ceremony for the newly constructed walking, jogging and interpretive trails, heritage site and garden adjacent to Mill Creek, located on the WSU Vancouver campus.
The dedication is set for 4 p.m. at the WSU Vancouver Barn, located on Salmon Creek Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
Community members are invited to attend and celebrate the new additions and the heritage garden. Many individuals and groups who helped development and create the new campus additions will be recognized. Representatives from the WSU Vancouver Research and Extension Unit and volunteers from the WSU Master Gardener Program will be attend the event.
Due to limited parking at the site, community members are invited to park on campus and catch a shuttle to the ceremony in the bus loop in front of the Student Services Building.
WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. Parking is available in the blue lot for $1.75 or at parking meters.
