VANCOUVER, Wash. — Washington State University Vancouver will host the third annual Health Career Day on April 7, when those interested in a career in health care will have the opportunity to meet with admissions representatives from local professional schools.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the
Representatives will be available to share information on a number of areas, including allopathic medicine, optometry, biosciences, Oriental medicine chiropractic medicine, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, medical technology, physical therapy, naturopathic medicine, physician assistant, nursing, podiatry, nutrition, master of public health, occupational therapy, veterinary medicine.
Some of the schools scheduled to attend the event include Life West Chiropractic College, National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Oregon Health Sciences University, Oregon State University, Pacific University, Southern California College of Optometry, University of Portland, University of Puget Sound , WSU Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, WSU Vancouver, Western States Chiropractic College, Ross University, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Western University of Health Sciences, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Des Moines University and Rosalind Franklin University.
