Makin’ Hay, the bigger-than-life art installation located on Terra View drive, northeast of the Pullman campus, was dismantled on Tuesday, March 15. The artwork, created by Tom Otterness, Wichita, Kan., included several sculptures made of hay and fabricated steel.

Helping dismantle the art work are: Boone Helm (white long-sleeve shirt), Fine Arts Museum Art Prepator; Jason Lascu (grey T-shirt and baseball hat), a Fine Arts graduate student; and Curtis Gurnett (in bottom photo), a Walla Walla foundry worker. (Photos by Shelly Hanks, WSU Photo Services)
