WSU Police Locate Missing Student

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University Police have located and contacted a WSU student who was reported missing earlier this week.

Campus Police Chief Steve Hansen said the student, Stefan P. Tyburski, was located yesterday in Lewiston and was apparently unaware that he had been reported missing by family members.

“Our office got a tip from a person in Lewiston who said she had talked with him and he said he was staying in a hotel there,” said Hansen. “One of my officers began calling all the hotels in Lewiston and located him. We have confirmed he is fine and he has called his parents and talked with them.”
