Black Women’s Caucus hosts annual conference



The Black Women’s Caucus of Washington State University will host its annual African-American Women’s Conference Feb. 26, featuring workshops and seminars on issues of gender and race.

Guest speakers and facilitators for the events include Eunice Johnson, Mary Grimes and the Rev. Carmen Woods. Conference registration is $10; the deadline to register is Feb. 17. The ticket price includes a noon Women of Color Awards luncheon in the Compton Union Building Cascade Room.

Jessica Care Moore, poet, actor and performer, is scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m. in the Samuel H. Smith Center for Undergraduate Education Auditorium, Room 203. The performance is free and open to the public. For additional information about Moore, visit www.jessicacaremoore.net.
