New vinyl banners to brighten campus, city

More than 175 new Washington State University banners will be mounted on light poles throughout Pullman and across the WSU campus in the next several weeks. The single- and double-wide vinyl banners will replace worn cloth banners produced 10 years ago and taken down last winter. Artwork for these was designed by Doug Garcia, WSU Marketing Communications. Seventy-three banners will be placed on campus and 106 in Pullman. The banners were manufactured in Western Washington and paid for with nonstate funds.
