Organic Grain Field Day Set

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University will hold its 2nd Annual Organic Dryland Grain Crop Field Day, 9 a.m. – noon, Tuesday, June 15.

A systems study of organic grain crops grown on dryland farms was initiated last year with funds from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The goal was to determine the optimal system for a transitional period as growers move to a certified organic production system.
