Campus on the Run Raises Money for the Council on Aging and Human Services

PULLMAN, Wash. — More than 450 campus and community members participated Saturday (March 27) in the Seventh Annual Campus on the Run 5K, which raised $1,200 for the Council on Aging and Human Service.

The money will be used to develop a new food bank distribution site in Rosalia, which will operate in conjunction with the Colfax food bank. WSU Health and Wellness Services, the Community Service Learning Center and University Recreation sponsored the event.  

The overall winner of the 3.1-mile race was Joshua Randall with a time of 17:34.

Intramural Championship T-shirts were awarded to the winners of each division. Participant Amy Vangstad won a free-night’s stay at the Holiday Inn Express, and Emma Karel won a $35 gift certificate to Tri-State Idaho’s Most Interesting Store. More prize drawings were awarded before the race.
