University Recreation Accepting Supplies for Costa Rican Children

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University Recreation is accepting donations of elementary school supplies for Costa Rican children, which will be delivered to the country by a group of WSU students March 13-21.

The group of students, organized by University Recreation’s Outdoor Recreation Center, will travel to Mal Pais, Costa Rica, during spring break to take part in a service project that supports a local elementary school.

Donations of crayons, chalk, paper, stickers, glue sticks and other supplies are requested. New and used children’s Spanish books also are needed. Donations can be made to the ORC at Hollingbery Field House Annex, Room 101, next to Bohler Gym.
