Singer David Rovics to Perform at WSU Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Singer and songwriter David Rovics will perform at Washington State University Vancouver tomorrow (Feb. 17) from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Multimedia Building, Room 6.

Rovics will perform and detail the historical and cultural context of social protest music from labor, civil rights and anti-war movements, including selections from his recent album “Behind the Barricades: The Best of David Rovics.”  Rovics music is available for download at www.davidrovics.com.

WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. Parking is available at parking meters or in the blue lot for a $1.50.
