Concert Pianist to Grace Pullman

PULLMAN, Wash. — Concert pianist Andrea Anderson will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18 as part of Washington State University’s Concert Artist Series.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students with ID and can be purchased at all TicketsWest outlets, online at www.beasley.wsu.edu or by calling (800) 325-SEAT.

Anderson, whose musical skills have been attracting attention since the age of four, studied at the Manhattan School of Music, Columbia University, the University of Southern California and Claremont Graduate University, where she recently earned a doctorate.

Her “Journey into Impressionism,” a unique program that combines art and music, has been hailed by critics and audiences across the United States, China, Sweden, Finland and Lithuania.

Anderson was grated the Harold Bauer Award by the Manhattan School of Music, and a grand from the Rockefeller Foundation for further study and performance at the Aspen Music Festival.
