SEATTLE — The Washington State University Board of Regents approved a $1.225 million renovation project for Fulmer Hall in Pullman at its meeting Jan. 23 at the offices of WSU West.
The project calls for the complete exterior cleaning and weather sealing of the building. Windows, downspouts, gutters and flashing will be replaced. The project, which will be funded through the Minor Capital Renewal Fund in the budget, will be done this summer.
The regents also approved the creation of a WSU Real Estate Foundation, similar to foundations that have been created by other public universities. The foundation will be able to accept gifts of money and property and will be governed by a board of directors with expertise in real estate matters.
The regents’ next scheduled meeting will be held March 12 in Spokane.
