WSU Vancouver Community Choir to Regale Campus with Sounds of the Season

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Washington State University Vancouver Community Choir will perform on the university campus from noon – 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, in the Student Services Building auditorium.

The choir will present a diverse selection of choral works, including pieces by Beethoven and Haydn performed in German, a Peruvian waltz performed in Spanish, Australian Christmas carols and an American folk song apropos of the winter season and the northwest entitled “The Frozen Logger.”  Piano selections will also be performed by choir accompanist Marc Noakes.

The choir is directed by Lee Jennings and is comprised of WSU Vancouver students, faculty and staff.

The event is free and open to the public. WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205.
