Thanksgiving break changes

Due to Thanksgiving Break, be aware of the many changes taking place on campus, Nov. 22-30.

Parking changes on campus

Parking and Transportation Services has instituted changes in parking regulations affecting parking Nov. 24-29. Only crimson, orange and green permits are valid in crimson zones. Additionally, permits are not required in blue and gray zones during vacation periods. Regular semester parking conditions will resume on Monday, December 1, 2003.

Pullman Transit Thanksgiving Service Levels

Pullman Transit and Dial-A-Ride will begin service reductions Saturday, Nov. 22. On Nov. 22 and Nov. 29 the North and Southside bus service will operate from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Dial-A-Ride service will operate 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 26 the A and D-routes will operate 6:50 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. All other bus routes, including the Express, are cancelled. Dial-A-Ride will operate 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Bus Service and Dial-A-Ride service are cancelled for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 27th and 28th.

The A-route bus will serve Valley road during this reduced service period. A-route will not provide service up Merman Dr. to the North Campus Heights area as it has in the past.

All public school Tripper Routes will operate on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Public school students in the Golden Hills/Cory Lane area will be picked up at 7:45 a.m. by the TAM5 and TAM1 buses.

Athletic Facilities-Thanksgiving Break Schedule

In order to take advantage of this opportunity to minimize energy costs, the WSU Athletic facilities will be closed during Thanksgiving Break except for specific activities and events as listed on the Schedule at http://facops.wsu.edu/winterbreak.htm.

The Student Recreation Center is offering a Thanksgiving Break Pass Special during this period. The day pass price is reduced from $8 to just $2, for anyone over the age of 18, between Nov. 22 and Nov. 30.
