Blood Drive March 4-5 at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Inland Northwest Blood Center will hold its semi-annual blood drive for Washington State University students, faculty and staff from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., March 4-5, in the Compton Union Building Ballroom.

The WSU blood drive brings in about 600 donors each year to contribute to the region’s blood supply. “The community is desperately short of O+ and A+ type blood and has been for over a month,” said Kathryn Blott, recruitment coordinator for INBC.

The fraternity, sorority and residence hall with the greatest percentage of participation. will be awarded trophies for their school and community involvement.

The event is sponsored by WSU student organizations, including Rho Nu Nursing Club, Arnold Air Society of the Air Force ROTC, the Academy of Students of Pharmacy, FarmHouse and Omega Psi Phi fraternities, and Pullman Kiwanis Club.
