WSU Museum of Art S’Wonderful Set Feb. 7

PULLMAN, Wash. — S’Wonderful, the Friends of the Washington State University Museum of Art fund-raiser and friend-raiser event, is set for Feb. 7 in the museum, located in the university’s Fine Arts Center.

Activities that evening begin at 6 p.m. with a reception in the museum foyer. There will be entertainment by the Dozier-Jarvis Trio and hors d’oeurves catered by Swilly’s.

Those attending the event will enjoy the WSU Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition in the museum gallery and a “Fit to be Tied” verbal/silent auction, featuring ties created by the Fine Arts Faculty.

“The Friends cordially invite guests to meet old friends and greet new ones at an evening of merriment, marvelous morsels and music,” said Linda Hartford, Friends vice president.

Admission is $25 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door. Contact the museum to make reservations or for more information, call 509/335-1910. Reservation deadline is Jan. 30.

Attire for the event is “festive.” Free vehicle parking will be available in the Fine Arts parking structure.
