PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s Northwest Public Radio has increased the power of its Port Angeles station, KNWP, 90.1 FM, from 400 watts to 1,600 watts, improving coverage to many areas of the northern Olympic Peninsula and Victoria, British Columbia.

KNWP broadcasts a variety of popular public radio programs, including “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered,” “Fresh Air, Car Talk” and “A Prairie Home Companion,” with a significant portion devoted to classical music.
