Apple Cup Community Celebration/Game Party Planned At WSU Tri-Cities

TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Tickets to Saturday’s Apple Cup annual football clash between Washington State University and the University of Washington have been sold out for weeks, and for those who can’t make it to Pullman, there’s a game day bash planned at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities organization is inviting all area alumni – from both WSU and UW – to join faculty, staff, students and friends to an Apple Cup Party and Community Celebration.

Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. (FOX Sports NW) and there will be food, prizes and really big screen TVs (12-foot screen) in the Atrium area of the West Building on campus.

Everyone is invited to drive on over and join the fun – which starts at 3 p.m., just before kickoff.

The event is free, there will be plenty of free parking and comfortable seating available. The campus is located at 2710 University Drive, just off George Washington Way in north Richland.

To RSVP, call Jerry Massey at 372-7213 or e-mail to jmassey@tricity.wsu.edu.
