PULLMAN, Wash. — Warren Miller Entertainment and the Associated Students of Washington State University Films Committee have teamed up to premiere Miller’s 53rd annual ski/snowboard film, “Storm,” at 8 p.m., Nov. 8-9.
The event, which will include giveaways and door prizes from ski resorts and retailers across the state of Washington, will be in WSU’s Compton Union Building Auditorium.
Advance tickets are $8 and are on sale at www.films.aswsu.org. They can also be purchased at the Cougar Depot, the Outdoor Recreation Center at the Student Recreation Center and Hyperspud Sports in Moscow. A portion of the proceeds will be given to the WSU Ski Team for its upcoming season.
“Storm” will transport viewers from Colorado and Steamboat’s world-famous champagne powder to the colossal peaks of Alaska and from the legendary ski town of Aspen to the Austrian Alps and beyond.
The WSU event marks the first time in more than ten years that Pullman has been selected to show a Miller film in its premiere run.
