New faculty orientation set

The Office of Grant and Research Development will present a workshop to help new faculty members. The two-hour orientation will detail OGRD services and resources. Participants will learn about university policies and procedures for submitting proposals to and accepting awards from sponsoring agencies, identifying potential funding sources, and required government assurances associated with research.

The workshop is offered twice for the convenience of attendees:
Tuesday, Oct. 1, 9 – 11 a.m. at these locations: WSU Pullman in the EME Building, Room B46; WSU Spokane in SIRTI Building, Room 310; Spokane Nursing in ICN Building, Room 214; WSU Tri-Cities in Main Building, 210W; WSU Vancouver in the CL Building, Room 130.

Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1 – 3 p.m. at these locations: WSU Pullman in Murrow Hall, Room 55; WSU Spokane in SIRTI Building, Room 310; Spokane Nursing in ICN Building, Room 214; WSU Tri-Cities in the Main Building, 210W; WSU Vancouver in the CL Building, Room 11.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Interested faculty members need only register for one of the two sessions by going to the OGRD website: www.ogrd.wsu.edu, clicking on the Fall 2002 Workshops link, and “OGRD New Faculty Orientation.”
