Local Graduate Performs in Recital at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. — Heather D. Zosel, a Washington State University senior, will perform her senior piano recital Friday, Sept. 20, in Kimbrough Auditorium. The 3 p.m. event is free and open to the public.

The performance will include works by Chopin, Beethoven, Ginastera and Liszt.

Zosel, a music education major, has been playing the piano since the third grade and recently received the Presser Award, the WSU School of Music and Theatre Arts’ most prestigious scholarship. Winners are selected based on scholastic achievement and performance. She also participates in WSU’s band and choir.

Zosel is the daughter of Nancy and Howard Zosel of Oroville.
