WSU President Rawlins to Discuss Higher Education Funding on NPR

Washington State University President V. Lane Rawlins will discuss the need for a permanent funding plan for higher education in Washington state — and make a major announcement — during a live, one-hour interview on KUOW’s “Weekday” radio program at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28. The program, hosted by KUOW’s Steve Scher, can be heard on 94.9 FM in Seattle. The “Weekday” interview also will air on the following Northwest Public Radio stations: KWSU (1250 AM) in Pullman, KWWS (89.7 FM) in Walla Walla/Tri-Cities, KQWS (90.1 FM) in Omak/Okanogan, and on KLWS (91.5 FM) in Moses Lake/Ephrata. Following the program, President Rawlins will be interviewed on KPLU, (88.5 FM) (NPR member station in Tacoma), by education reporter Jennifer Niessen.
