PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s final Up All Night event is set for Saturday, May 4, in the Student Recreation Center.
Organizers said the Up All Night Finals Blowout will run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and is free to WSU students who have their ID cards.
A barbecue begins at 10 p.m. University administrators and staff will serve until midnight. Chips and cookies will be available until 2 a.m.
Virginia Thomas, director of campus involvement, said the program includes many activities and prizes. “We hope to see a big crowd at the SRC,” she said.
The evening includes events such as human bowling in an oversize ball that rolls down an inflatable bowling alley, basketball bungee run, free massages and tarot card readings. Students will be given tickets they can use to win prizes for participating in an event. At the Up All Night Casino, participants can try to win additional tickets playing roulette, craps and blackjack.
Master hypnotist Jerry Harris will perform from 10 to 11:30 p.m. “While Harris promises at no time will he embarrass or humiliate any of his volunteers, he says you might expect to see belly dancing, ballet, race car drivers, martial arts experts or maybe even Britney Spears,” said organizers.
At the end of the evening, students can use their tickets to try to win the prizes including two televisions, a DVD player, a semester of books at the Bookie, Horizon Air tickets, a sports pass, a bike and more. Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils, WSU Athletics and Pullman area sponsors donated prizes for the Finals Blowout.
