PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University School of Music will hold its seventh annual chamber music workshop and competition for junior and senior high school string players March 30.
The competition will take place at 3 p.m. in Kimbrough Music Building, Room 101. The WSU Symphony Orchestra will perform at 4:30 p.m. in the Bryan Hall Auditorium. Both are free and open to the public.
Twelve ensembles of violinists, violists, cellists and pianists from eastern Washington will participate. The coaches are music faculty from WSU, Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga, and members of the Washington-Idaho Symphony.
