Free Body Composition Analyses at Student Recreation Center

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University Health and Wellness Services at the Student Recreation Center will provide free body composition analyses to SRC users.

The free service will be in the SRC, Room 144 at 6 – 9 p.m., March 11; 8 – 11 a.m. and 6 – 9 p.m., March 12; 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m., March 25; and 6 – 9 p.m., March 26. No appointments are required.

Bioelectric impedance is used to measure body composition. A scale passes a small electrical current through the body for an estimation of body fat percentage. The process is easy to administer, noninvasive and safe. Analyses have a stand error of +/- 3.5 percent.
