Latina Film Festival Set for March

PULLMAN, Wash. — Mujeres Unidas is sponsoring a free film festival with a theme of Latina empowerment in March.

Films will be shown: at 6 p.m., March 12, in the Samuel H. Smith Center for Undergraduate Education, Room 203; at 3 p.m., March 26, in the Smith Center 202; and at 6 p.m., March 26, in the Smith Center 203. There will be door prizes for the first five people to arrive at each film. A discussion will follow each.

MU is a student run organization that represents the interests of Chicanas and Latinas. The members contribute to programming and student activism. The organization also provides excellent leadership training and peer support.

The film festival is being held in conjunction with National Women’s History Month.
