Cougar Pride Days Information Available at Web Site

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends interested in taking part in campus beautification and cleanup projects during Cougar Pride Days, March 28-April 5, may access information at the event’s Web site.

The site also tells how to sign up for work projects, most of which will take place April 2, according to Ev Davis, WSU Facilities Operations director and Campus Pride Days coordinator. The Web address is www.wsu.edu/cougar-pride-days .

Cougar Pride Days’ kickoff will be 10 a.m., March 28, on the west lawn of the Lewis Alumni Centre. It will include planting of cherry trees. The event’s closing ceremony, including awards presentations and participation honors, will be at 3 p.m., April 5, in the Lighty Student Services Building first floor atrium.

The Student Alumni Connection will serve cake to celebrate WSU’s 112th birthday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. March 28. SAC is working with the WSU Office of Student Affairs and other student organizations to coordinate student participation in Cougar Pride Days.
