Pullman Human Rights Commission Sets April 23 Joint Meeting

PULLMAN, Wash. — A joint meeting of the Pullman Human Rights Commission and Friends of the Commission will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 23 in Washington State University’s Lighty Student Services Building, Room 405.

Public policy and human rights issues facing Pullman, as well as the commission and friends’ work, will be discussed, said Marysue Itani of the commission’s public relations committee.

The commission’s goal is help Pullman be an inclusive community, free of violence and intimidation.

Formed by the Pullman Livability Task Force in 1998, the commission includes appointees from WSU, the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman and Pullman School District.
