MEDIA ADVISORY: Parking and Transportation System Review for 2000

Washington State University initiated a parking and transportation system review during 2000 to evaluate three key areas on the Pullman campus.

Focus of the review involved
1) alternative transportation modes,
2) customer service, community relations and outreach, and
3) financial.

On Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Compton Union Building, Room 232, John Shaheen, director of Parking, Transportation and Visitor Center, and Glenn Ford, assistant vice president for Business Affairs, will present review findings to representatives of key campus groups with an interest in campus parking issues.

Shaheen and Ford also have tentatively scheduled two open public meetings on April 5 in the CUB to present review observations and findings.
