WSU Campus on the Run 5K Set for March 31

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s Health and Wellness Services, Intramural Sports and Community Service Learning Center are cosponsoring the third annual Campus on the Run 5K walk/run on March 31.

The 5K (3.1 mile) road race benefits the Pullman Food Bank through the Community Action Center. Check-in starts at 8:45 a.m., and the race begins at 9:30 a.m. at Roundtop Drive off Grimes Way on the WSU campus.

The walk/run is open to all WSU students, faculty, staff and their spouses/partners. Entry forms are available at HWS’ Wellness Programs at Administration Annex, Room 301, and CSLC in the Compton Union Building, Room 322. Completed entries should be returned to the equipment desk at the Student Recreation Center. Last entry deadline is March 30.

Entry fees are $10 for students and $13 for WSU employees and their families. Those entering before March 16 are guaranteed a long-sleeve T-shirt.

Awards and prizes will be given out shortly after the race at the check-in location. Intramural championship T-shirts will be awarded to the top female and male in each age category. Refreshments are donated by local businesses.
