WSU Students to Help with Tax Forms

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s chapter of Students in Free Enterprise will sponsor a free tax workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Todd Hall, Room 268.

The workshop will show WSU students and others how to use a 1040EZ income-tax form and answer any questions students and the public might have.

“There are many students and others in the community who are uncomfortable with income-tax forms,” said Todd Weger, a member of SIFE’s executive council. “We hope this workshop will help young taxpayers be able to manage the paperwork necessary to complete the form correctly.”

The SIFE chapter, in its first year on the WSU campus, plans a number of university and community activities throughout the year. Last fall members presented a credit-card awareness program.
