WSU Tri-Cities Candlelight March Honors Martin Luther King, Jr.

TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The public is invited to join a candlelight march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

Participants will gather at the Students Book Corporation, a building on the west end of campus, and proceed to the Atrium of the campus’ main building. Candles will be provided.

The ceremony at the Atrium will include the reading of Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech and music by Pasco’s Golden GospelAires.

The Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities are sponsoring the event.

WSU Tri-Cities is located at 2710 University Drive in north Richland.
