Caregivers Support Group Meets Monthly

PULLMAN, Wash. — A Caregivers Support Group, for those providing care for an elderly person or a person with a disability, meets from 3-4 p.m. the second Monday of each month in the Cougar Depot, 225 N. Grand Ave.

The meetings are “centered around the needs of the members. Sharing of experiences, joys and frustrations is an integral component of the group. In addition, information pertaining to caregiver resources is provided,” according to Troy Robey, program coordinator of Service for Seniors, part of the Community Service Learning Center at Washington State University.

Group sponsors are the CSLC, the Pullman Community Council on Aging, the Council on Aging and Human Services, and the Eastern Washington Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
