WSU, UW Presidents Hold Joint News Conference Nov. 16

SPOKANE, Wash. — Washington State University President V. Lane Rawlins and University of Washington President Richard L. McCormick will appear together in advance of this year’s Apple Cup. The two presidents will be available to reporters at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 16, in the Florentine Room of the Hotel Lusso, located at 1 North Post Street.

The presidents are expected to make a wager on the outcome of the game and will announce the stakes during the news conference. This year’s Apple Cup will be held in Pullman on Nov. 18.

An Apple Cup news conference is a traditional event for the cross-state rivals. This year will be the first such appearance for WSU’s Rawlins, who became president in June.
