Holiday Lights Contest

PULLMAN, Wash. — College Hill adjacent to the Washington State University campus will be lit up with holiday lights to represent the third annual Holiday Lights Contest. The contest is open to all WSU fraternities, sororities and residence halls.

This contest will be judged on Nov. 17, the Friday before the Apple Cup football game between WSU and the University of Washington. Prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated fraternity, sorority and residence hall.

“The purpose of having the contest so early on in the holiday season is to show those Huskies our Cougar spirit,” said Lori Lyman, Panhellenic vice president of public relations.

The lights will be up throughout November and December.

For more information, contact Lori Lyman or Matt Moses, chairs of the event, at 509/335-5929, or e-mail aphilemon@aol.com or mo003@hotmail.com.
