Spirit of the Dance Opens New Program at Beasley Coliseum

PULLMAN, Wash. — Spirit of the Dance, one of the most successful shows
ever to come out of Ireland, brings its new production, “The New Millennium,”
to Washington State University Jan. 21 for an 8 p.m. program.

Irish in origin, the production features a blend of traditional culture that
weaves together dramatic Irish energy with primeval forces of flamenco,
classical ballet, red-hot salsa and jazz. It takes the audience on a whirlwind tour
through 1,000 years of Irish tradition, including show-stopping Irish dance
with beautiful love songs and award-winning music as “The Spirit” dances her
way through the millennium searching for her true love.

The program stars the Irish International Dance Company, renowned for its
thrilling, foot-stamping excitement.

Tickets for the program range from $22.50 to $35 and can be purchased at the
Coliseum box office, all G&B Select-a-Seat outlets, and by calling
800/325-SEAT.
