WSU College of Business & Economics Hails 10 Outstanding Faculty and Staff

PULLMAN, Wash. — Ten Washington State University College of Business and Economics
faculty, staff and graduate students have received awards for their service, research and
teaching efforts at a recent reception.
The CBE Outstanding Faculty of the Year are David Sprott, assistant professor of marketing,
for teaching; Richard Sias, associate professor of finance, and Jerry Goodstein, associate
professor of management at WSU Vancouver, for research; and Carolyn Clark, associate
professor of economics, and Cy Morgan, professor of management, for service.
The MBA Professor of the Year is Bob Greenberg, associate professor of accounting. He is
also chair of the WSU Faculty Senate.
The CBE Outstanding Staff Person of the Year is Sheila Bershatsky, secretary senior to the
CBE associate deans.
CBE Outstanding Graduate Assistants of the Year include Heidi Connole, management, for
teaching; Dan Friesner, economics, for research; and Joung-Ho Jung, management information
systems, for service.
