The day’s activities include music by Washington State University staff member Dan Maher,
an exhibit of WSU raptors, and a bedding plant and vegetable sale. Representatives of campus
and community groups also will be available to answer questions, including the WSU Center for
Environmental Education, the WSU Center for Sustaining Agriculture, Cooperative Extension,
Koppel Farm Children’s Garden, the YWCA Community Food Security Program, Pullman Seniors,
the Groundworks Institute, Pullman Civil Trust and the Greystone Foundation.
Koppel Farm sponsors organic community garden plots, native plant restoration projects,
