Memorial Service Planned for WSU Faculty Member

PULLMAN, Wash. — A memorial service is planned for Monday, April 12, for Washington
State University faculty member Colin Beckles, who died in Spokane April 7.
The service is planned for 10 a.m.-noon at Pullman’s St. James Episcopal Church, 1410 NE
Stadium Way. A reception at the church will follow. Donations in Beckles’ memory may be made
to the “Coalition for Social Justice,” a Pullman-based organization.
The WSU Office of Multicultural Student Services and the African American Student Center
are coordinating the service. Questions can be directed to center counselor Herb Delaney,
