WSU Ski Team Plans Ski Swap Nov. 7

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s ski team and Outdoor Recreation Center will hold the 24th annual WSU ski swap Saturday, Nov. 7, at Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
The event, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m., is expected to draw thousands of novice to veteran skiers to the fieldhouse, which will be filled with new and used ski and snowboard equipment for sale by students, area residents and local ski shops.
The event drew nearly 2,000 people last year, said Dave Moss, ski team president.
Admission is $1 at the door, and KHTR 104.3 FM will broadcast from the event. Ski team members and ORC staff will be available for questions.
The ski swap gives people the opportunity to sell their old ski or snowboard equipment. Check in will be Friday, Nov. 6, from 3-9 p.m. Unsold items must be picked up Sunday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Questions about selling equipment can be directed to OCR staff at 509/335-2651.
