WSU Included in Hispanic Outlook Publisher’s Pick

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University is included in The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine’s
“Publisher’s Picks on Best Colleges for Hispanics.”
According to the magazine’s publisher, Jose Lopez-Isa, in a letter sent to WSU President Samuel Smith, the list
represents “our selections of outstanding colleges and universities that serve Hispanic students.”
One of the goals of the list, said Lopez-Isa, is to increase enrollment at “these institutions which have demonstrated their
support for Hispanic students and their interest in advancing the success of these individuals.”
The list will run in the Nov. 20 issue of the magazine, which is published in Paramus, N.J.
