PULLMAN, Wash. — Works by members of the Washington State University’s Department of Fine Arts faculty are featured in the Museum of Art’s first exhibit of the fall semester.
The exhibit that runs through Sept. 27 highlights various media by long-time faculty artists such as Patrick Siler, Frances Ho and Keith Monaghan and faculty newcomers Marc Boone, Cynthia Gott and Keith Wells. A video montage of film clips, “The Pole at Last,” by second-year faculty member Emily Blair also will be featured.
Also exhibiting in the show are WSU faculty members Ann Christenson, Ross Coates, Sandra Salo Deutchman, Tim Doebler, Jack Dollhausen, Robert Helm, Tamara Helm, Pamela Awana Lee, Paul Lee, Phuong Nguyen, Lana Lee Phillips, Salene Santucci, Casey Shiprek, Chris Watts and Keith Wells.
The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Museum events are open to the public without charge, and the gallery is wheelchair accessible. Visitor parking permits are available at the Visitor Center and WSU Parking Services.
Funding for museum exhibitions and programs is provided by the university and the Friends of the Museum of Art. A portion of the museum’s general operating funds for the fiscal year has been provided through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services that provides general operating support to the nation’s museums.
