Student resolution against budget cuts commended

PULLMAN, Wash. – President Elson S. Floyd commends the Washington State University student senate for its resolution against budget cuts in his recent Perspectives column.

The Washington State Legislature convened this week to consider ways to close the state’s estimated $2 billion budget deficit.

Floyd says he looks forward to working closely with WSU students to make the best possible case for the university in the weeks and months ahead.
