Art exhibit of 76 pieces at WSU Tri-Cities

RICHLAND, Wash. — The opening reception for a semester-long exhibit of regional artwork is at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The Chancellor’s Art Exhibition Series for spring semester features 76 works by 34 regional artists.

Interim Chancellor James R. Pratt will welcome the artists at the opening reception in the East Building, Room 228 conference room. Many of the artists present will be available to discuss their work and answer questions about the specific pieces.

The artwork is on display through June 14 in publicly accessible areas of the East Building administration area at WSU Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.

This semi-annual juried exhibition series is designed to showcase the remarkable art of the Columbia Valley. Digital images, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramics, glass or any other media is eligible and encouraged.
