Alumnus recognized for scientific contributions

COLUMBUS, Ohio. – The American Academy of Microbiology is the world’s largest and oldest science organization and, through a highly-selective process, recognizes scientists for their contributions to microbiology. This month the academy elected 80 microbiologists, including Washington State University alumnus Ross Dalbey.Dalbey graduated from WSU in 1983 with his Ph.D. in biochemistry and in 1987 he became a faculty member at Ohio State University. He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Chemical Society, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and many more.
