PULLMAN, Wash. – Four WSU employees and one alumnus, who have played for about six months in what "might loosely be called a jazz group,” will play at 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Rico’s in downtown Pullman.

Their gig is part of a WSU jazz combo class that four of them are taking with instructor Dave Snider.

"Pork Pie Hat” group members are: Brian Clark, public relations/communications coordinator for the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences; Dave Hoyt, senior graphic design manager for Marketing and Creative Services; Jack Purdie, development director for International Programs; Eric Sorensen, science writer for Washington State Magazine and WSU News; and Scotty Thompson, who majored in music at WSU.
