Award winning travel author to speak at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. – World-renowned author Rolf Potts will be speaking at Washington State University at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 in Kimbrough 101. His presentation is part of the Visiting Writer Series, an event organized by the WSU Department of English.
 
Potts has reported from over 60 countries and his work has been featured in National Geographic Traveler, The New Yorker, Outside, Slate.com, National Public Radio and the Travel Channel.
 
Potts’ book "Vagabonding” has been through thirteen printings and translated into multiple languages. His newest book, "Marco Polo Didn’t Go There,” won the 2009 Lowell Thomas Award from the Society of American Travel Writers.
