Abbie L. Vancil

Abbie Vancil is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations.

During her last year of school, Vancil became the guardian of her sister. While she was taking care of her sister, Vancil maintained a full-time course load and a communication internship at WSU Health and Wellness.

Vancil was involved in a variety of extracurricular activities on campus. Her biggest contribution was her participation in the Campus Campaign Against Sexual Assault where she conducted surveys and worked on campaign materials about sexual assault and violence on campus. In this position she worked with graduate students, faculty and residential education directors for the production of the campaign’s magazine.
