International scope

Tuba instructor selected to teach in Argentina festival

PULLMAN, Wash. - Christopher Dickey, tuba and euphonium instructor at Washington State University, was featured as a guest artist, clinician and faculty member at the recent Festival Internacional Isla Verde Bronces in Cordoba, Argentina.
 
He presented recitals, taught master classes and conducted brass ensembles. Faculty participants were chosen from among the finest brass players in the world.
 
"This is an indication of the international scope and influence of our faculty members in the WSU School of Music," said school director Greg Yasinitsy. "Congratulations to Chris for this wonderful achievement.”
